Tips and tricks:

Tasksbar :

1) If you want to replace quickly your taskbar at the bottom of the screen, just put -1 in the "Offset Y" value in Taskbar configuration panel.

2) if you CTRL+click on a task tile, it will close the associated application

3) right-click on a task tile will bring up a menu with ability to close all open apps in a single click ( Close windows )

4) You can create a new tile FROM the taskbar. Simply hold the SHIFT key while clicking on a task tile, then drag this tile over your desktop ! HoverDesk will create a new tile with the correct app :)

5) You can assign your own custom icons for the task tile. For ex : launch Word, and drop a .ico on the task tile representing Word. Next time you will launch Word, your icon will be displayed on the task tile.

Quickly changing an application  path on an existing tile : Simply drop the new app (exe/folder/weblink) on this tile.

Resetting the Desktop Area : If you put -1 in each fieds of Top/Left/Right/Bottom, HoverDesk will put back your Windows default desktop area.

Creating Hover effects on tiles: Create new texture graphics for hover effects and assign them to selected tiles by SHIFT+Dragging to the desired tile(s).

Tasklist Popup Menu : You can quickly close an app listed in the tasklist popup menu : hold the CTRL key and left click on the window name in the tasklist.

Command Line plugin : You can drop any file (except bmp which would change the texture) onto the Command Line to add parameters.
